About me

I’m Clare, 19 and from Belfast in Northern Ireland, music is my biggest passion in life. Not a day goes by where I don’t listen to it, and it’s integrated into almost every aspect of my life. One of my trademarks being that I’m almost always seen with my headphones on. And whenver I’m out and about, I’m always on the lookout to find a record store I haven’t bene in before. I still buy CD’s, and I have no intention of stopping that. I don’t collect vinyl though as I don’t have a record player.  My record collection is listed on Discogs (there’s a link to that elsewhere on the blog)

The other thing you should know about me is that my music taste is varied. . I’ve got a definite penchant for older music that’s always been there, namely the 70s, 80s and 90s. Don’t take that as a criticism against modern music though. I love plenty of contemporary artists such as The Killers, Friendly Fires, Jessie Ware, Jagwar Ma to name a few. As for genres, it’s definitely electronic music. Although I absolutely love both Simon & Garfunkel and The Clash so there’s definitely a few curveballs in there (with more to boot).

The reason for my blog is simple – to write about any music related topics that I want to talk about. It’s quite a free-flowing blog really with no set pattern. I just hope you all have as much fun reading it as I do writing it.
